Royal Enfield

Royal Enfield was the brand name under which the Enfield Cycle Company(founded 1893) manufactured motorcycles, bicycles, lawnmowers and stationary engines. The first Royal Enfield motorcycle was built in 1901; the original British concern was defunct by 1970. The Enfield Cycle Company is responsible for the design and original production of the Royal Enfield Bullet, the longest-lived motorcycle design in history.Like other motorcycle manufacturers such as BSA and IZhMASh, the Enfield Cycle Company began business as a weapons manufacturer, most famous for the Enfield rifle. This legacy is reflected in the company logo a cannon, and their motto, "Made Like A Gun".In 1955, Enfield Cycle Company partnered with Madras Motors in India in forming Enfield of India, based in Chennai, and started assembling the 350cc Royal Enfield Bullet motorcycle in Madras. The first machines were assembled from components imported from England. Starting in 1957, Enfield of India acquired the machines necessary to build components in India, and by 1962 all components were made in India.

1) Royal Enfield Classic 500 EFI:

As the times have evolved so has the Royal Enfield. The current Classic series comes with a wide range of color and a single cylinder, 4 stroke, twin spark powerful 500cc engine. It comes with a 27.2 bhp, wet, multi plate clutch and a 5 speed gear box.

With the telescopic  35 mm front and the twin gas charged shock absorbers at the back ensure the comfort of the rider .As we informed you earlier the Royal Enfield has come out with quite a number of color for the customers. For all those who love the battle tales of  the old days they have battle green and desert storm, For all the chrome lovers there is the chrome series and for those people who love the classic old look, the classic series.

The Royal Enfield has also implemented the 280 mm disk brake with 2 piston caliper and 1153 mm drum, single lead internal expanding rear brake. To overcome any tough road you encounter the Classic series is designed with a 1370 mm wheel base and 135 mm ground clearance.


2) Royal Enfield Bullet 500 EFI:

The bullets are built the same as the classic series to endure the tough road and  give riders the comfort they deserve except for the few  changes with the tires and the absence of the twin spark technology in the engine, bullet offers all the perks as the  classic series.  Bullet comes with three choices of colors and is still a good ride for the long roads.

3) Royal Enfield Continental GT:

For all the lovers of café racers out there, the Royal Enfield designed  café racer to blow you all away. The Continental GT is the light weight motor cycle designed for optimal speed and handling. Unlike it's siblings it comes with an 535cc engine and 5 speed gearbox. The total control is ensured by 300mm and 240mm front and rear disc breaks.The engine uses air cool technology to ensure maximum efficiency . It surely is a thrill to ride a Continental GT.

4) Bullet Electra:

For those who need traditional lines of the bullet, Electra is the ride to buy. It comes with a 346cc, 19bhp engine. Even though most of it's tech spec resembles that of the classic it's has unique body design and comes with 5 speed gearbox.  So, for those who need powerful and a reliable ride this is the one for you.

5) Royal Enfield Thunderbird:

The new Royal Enfield thunderbird features 500cc and 300cc models. With it's unique range of colors and a rugged body design it's sure stands out. The two models look alike with the variations in the power and technical spec. While the power of the 500cc engine is 27bhp the 350cc comes with 19bhp. Both these machines come with a 5 speed gear box , Single cylinder 4 stroke twin spark engine,280mm front  and 240mm rear disc. Thunderbird surely enhances the pleasure of leisure of motorcycling among the touring enthusiasts.
